Senior Management Executive Officers
Ms. Higgins joined the Affinity team in January of 2018 with nearly 20 years’ experience in the gaming sector, focusing on strategic financial management, capital formation, acquisition strategies and investor relations.
Before joining Affinity, she was instrumental in establishing VICI Properties, a REIT spinoff from Caesars Entertainment Operating Company, Inc. (CEOC), serving as Chief Financial Officer.
From 2014 to 2017, she was the Chief Financial Officer of CEOC, the largest subsidiary of Caesars Entertainment Corporation, where she oversaw finances across 38 casino locations in 14 U.S. states as well as in 5 countries.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Higgins served as Chief Financial Officer at companies such as Global Cash Access Holdings, Inc., Herbst Gaming, Inc., and Camco, Inc.
Ms. Higgins was recently added to the board of trustees of Chatham Lodging Trust NYSE “CLDT”.
Ms. Higgins has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Memphis State University.
Mr. Fiocco joined Affinity Gaming in November of 2018 bringing nearly four decades of gaming and casino experience.
Prior to joining Affinity, Mr. Fiocco, served as Chief Marketing Officer of Tropicana Entertainment Inc. where he was responsible for all marketing operations across eight Tropicana properties. In leading the development and execution of marketing initiatives and brand strategy at Tropicana, Mr. Fiocco helped drive significant annual net revenue growth from 2012 to 2017.
Mr. Fiocco also served as Senior Vice President of Casino Operations and Marketing for Resorts Casino Hotel and Atlantic City Hilton. He began his career at Caesars Atlantic City in its table games department and quickly climbed the ranks, from dealer to Vice President of Operations and Marketing
Mr. Fiocco holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Stockton State College in Pomona, New Jersey.
Mr. Scrivens joined the Affinity team in May 2019 from Z Capital Partners, LLC., where he served as a Managing Director on the private equity investment team since 2012. During his tenure, he focused on investments in gaming and hospitality, leading teams of professionals that specialized in pursuing opportunities that required hands-on financial and operational leadership, including Affinity Gaming, a Z Capital portfolio company.
From 2001 to 2012 he served as Director at Chilmark Partners a middle market private equity firm and boutique investment bank that specializes in complex transactions. And from 1993 to 2001 worked at Arthur Andersen LLP in its corporate finance group.
Mr. Scrivens graduated with a Bachelors of Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois.
Mr. Burtch joined Affinity Gaming in February of 2022 bringing more than 35 years of experience in Information Systems, including over 30 years of experience in the Gaming industry.
Prior to joining Affinity, Mr. Burtch recently served as the Chief Information Officer and VP of IT-Audio Video/Entertainment, Property Facilities, and PMO for the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians in Choctaw, Mississippi from 2014 to 2022. He served as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Innovation and Technology for Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada from 2013 to 2014.
From 2010 to 2014 he was the Vice-President of Information Technology and Audio-Video for Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California, owned by the United Auburn Indian Community.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Burtch worked for Harrah’s Entertainment in their Corporate IT Division for twenty years, starting in 1989. Mr. Burtch served in various leadership and application architect positions. While at Harrah’s Entertainment, Mr. Burtch participated in numerous property openings and acquisition conversions.
Mr. Burtch started his Information Technology career working in the trucking and insurance industry.
Ms. Barnett joined Affinity Gaming in September of 2016. Prior to joining Affinity Gaming, Ms. Barnett was engaged in private practice, with the Nevada based firms McDonald Carano and Marquis Aurbach Coffing, where she specialized in real estate and business transactions. She also served as the Associate General Counsel for The Greenspun Corporation, a prominent media company and real estate developer.
Ms. Barnett holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Dalhousie Law School, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Ms. Mark joined Affinity Gaming in November of 2019 bringing extensive Human Resources knowledge within the gaming industry. Prior to joining Affinity Gaming, Ms. Mark served as Vice President of Human Resources for Resorts World Las Vegas from 2014 to 2019.
From 2010 to 2014, she was the Vice President of Human Resources for the Las Vegas Hilton.
Earlier in Ms. Mark’s career, she worked as the Director of Human Resources for both Golden Gaming and Boyd Gaming.
Ms. Mark is a steward of philanthropy, and has been on the boards of various local non-profits throughout the Las Vegas valley including the Epicurean Charitable Foundation, HELP of Southern Nevada, and Go RED for Women.
Ms. Mark graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
