In March of 2023, Mr. Butera joined Affinity Interactive bringing more than 30 years of knowledge and his mastery of many aspects of the gaming and entertainment industries, as well as a demonstrated track record of accomplishment in revolutionizing sectors through a mixture of insight and action.
Before Affinity Interactive, he served as President of Fubo Gaming at Fubo TV Inc., accountable for creating and running the first-ever, in-house sports betting and video streaming platform.
Moreover, he has held CEO and President positions in many Fortune 500 corporations, including MGM Resorts International, Arena Football League, Foxwoods Resort & Casino, and Tropicana Entertainment, Inc.
Mr. Butera attained his Bachelors of Arts from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and is former member of the college’s Board of Trustees. Additionally, he earned his Masters of Business Administration from New York University in New York, NY.
Mr. Paelinck joined Affinity Interactive in November of 2023 bringing a wealth of experience to the team. With over 20 years of leading IT for major gaming and technology companies such as Caesars, Station Casinos, and Walker Digital Tables, Charles is a true veteran of the industry. His expertise goes beyond gaming, having also held similar positions for Kellogg’s Cereal Company, Sprint, and Baxter Pharmaceuticals.
Notably, Mr. Paelinck is a co-inventor of an interactive marketing system and a mobile billing system for which he shared in patents.
Mr. Paelinck holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Arizona.
Ms. Mark joined Affinity Gaming in November of 2019 bringing extensive Human Resources knowledge within the gaming industry. Prior to joining Affinity Gaming, Ms. Mark served as Vice President of Human Resources for Resorts World Las Vegas from 2014 to 2019.
From 2010 to 2014, she was the Vice President of Human Resources for the Las Vegas Hilton.
Earlier in Ms. Mark’s career, she worked as the Director of Human Resources for both Golden Gaming and Boyd Gaming.
Ms. Mark is a steward of philanthropy, and has been on the boards of various local non-profits throughout the Las Vegas valley including the Epicurean Charitable Foundation, HELP of Southern Nevada, and Go RED for Women.
Ms. Mark graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Mr. Brown joined Affinity Gaming in March of 2026 bringing more than 25 years of experience leading marketing strategy across the hospitality, gaming, finance, and entertainment sectors. Prior to joining Affinity, Mr. Brown served as President and Chief Marketing Officer at CBA Professional Marketing Services. He previously held CMO roles at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and Prairie Fire Nevada.
From 2005 to 2019, Mr. Brown held multiple executive positions with MGM Resorts International, including as Corporate Vice President of Marketing Operations.
He’s the President of the Board of Trustees for Olive Crest Nevada, an Advisory Board Member of the Las Vegas Innovation Marketing Association, and a Committee Member of the ESPN Las Vegas Bowl.
Mr. Brown holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Mr. Murphy joined Affinity Gaming in April 2026 bringing more than 25 years of experience in financial leadership across the gaming, hospitality, and broader corporate sectors. He has a strong track record of driving financial performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and leading complex finance organizations through periods of growth and transformation.
Prior to joining Affinity, Mr. Murphy served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway, a Penn Entertainment property, where he oversaw financial operations across multiple properties and led key capital initiatives, contributing to strong EBITDA growth and operational performance.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Murphy held senior leadership roles at MGM Resorts International, including Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, where he was responsible for enterprise-wide treasury and financial planning functions, driving improvements in liquidity management, cost control, and capital efficiency.
Mr. Murphy graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Business and a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, as well as Masters of Business Administration from Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina.
